This folder contains: A handwritten letter from Miss Nguyen Thi Gia Phu in Vietnamese to her oldest brother at a refugee camp in Guam. The reverse of the letter suggests that Mrs John E Murrays become Ba Murrays Nguoi's sponsor in English on 24 June 1975. Miss Phu was in a Californian refugee camp. Miss Phu also writes a letter to Glenn and Maralyn Miksell on the same day in English. She thanks the family for help locating her family members now in Guam and laments that eight of her family memebers are still in Viet Nam. Miss Phu also thanks the family for their hospitality and comments that her family members are being relocated to mainland US and that they don't speak much English. She asks Glenn & family to give the Vietnamese letter to her brother Duc in Guam and lists her family members located there and their address. Two envelopes addressed to Miss Maralyn Miksell. One was sent from Viet Nam and the other from the US. One photograph of dead soldiers of the Army of Viet Nam dated from 8 July 1962. A greeting is written on the back in French A thin scrap of rice paper that has a large number 6 printed in red on it and words in both Vietnamese and in Chinese characters also in red. Four empty postcards from Saigon black and white with blue handwritten notes of the locations shown: Corner of the Memorial Temple Central Market Port and Mayorality.
