Watercolour Painting entitled "Citizen" Depicting a lone figure of a man in a hat sitting on a block (perhaps a bag) in the foreground with his head down. He is in the shadow of a guard tower which is silhouetted along with a fence and electrical poles against the sky in the upper third of the painting. The desolateness of the painting is emphasized with the green and burnt sienna ground which dominates the lower two thirds of the painting; the man and the tower are in darker shades of the same colors; he is outlined in what appears to be dark drawing pencil. The sky is in shades of blue beige with white at the left on watercolour paper. The artist has signed the back in pencil with the title his name and date with a copyright symbol "'Citizen' Lee J. Wexler 1977 c" and the lower right front with his name and date.
