Sepia photograph of a large group of men and women standing on stairs. In the center stand the First Hill Drum and Bugle Core of the Seattle Area boy scouts. Under the photograph is printed "Fifth Biennial Northwest Council Convention * Japanese American Citizen's League * September 3 and 4, Tacoma Washington" and "Photo by Associated, Tacoma". On the back is stamped in purple ink "Associated Photographic Service, 714 Market St.-BRdwy. 2621 - Tacoma, Wash." Some members have been identified: Front Row: 4th from left - Henry Tatsumi, 12th from left - James Sakamoto, 12th from right - Seiichi Hara, 14th from right - Clarence Arai; 2nd row: 13th from left - Ben Hara. The photograph has been rolled and is creased in 3 places.
