He stands to the left of the painting. He wears a striped, long-sleeved, collar shirt. The painting is matted and framed. It is a watercolor painting by Fay Chong of steep land formations, surrounded by water and topped by trees. A rocky beach with indications of wood washed ashore also appears in the foreground of the painting. The painting was created by Fay Chong. It shows James Island, near Lapush in the northwest corner of Washington State. The painting was made in conjunction with the 1961/62 film, "Chinese Ink and Watercolors," produced by Martin Moyer Productions, Seattle.
