Black and White Photograph Pictures 3 rows of men posing outside of a building. The first row of men are seated while the other 2 rows of men are standing. The men pose at an entranceway with 2 steps and a shallow overhand. A wide entrance to the building is open behind them. Two lanterns hang from the overhang. A sign with four Chinese characters hangs on the outside wall above the overhand. The bottom of the photograph as 2 rows of Chinese characters printed in black. The photograph is mounted on a piece of thin mat board. The mat board has scalloped edges colored with metallic silver ink. A rectangular inked frame composed of slightly undulating metallic silver lines also surrounds the photograph. The lower left and upper right sides of the mat have Chinese charactes written in black ink. The lower left corner has a blue stamp with 2 rows of Chinese characters and the address for "Wong Si Chong Chi, Koong Har Ton Society, 39, Pengang Street, Penang" (Malaysia). The mat is slightly dirty, especially with yellow stain marks in the lower right corner.
