Internees at the Puyallup Assembly Center were preparing to leave the place for a permanent camp in Idaho called the Minidoka Relocation Center. James Y. Sakamoto, former publisher of the Japanese American Courier and head of the self-government at the Puyalllup Center, said people would now be able to get their feet on the ground after the temporary quarters in Puyallup.
