"A Chinese Matriarch" lithograph (?) created by Elizabeth Keith.
The print portrays an aged Chinese woman wearing a dark hat, blue fur-lined coat, black gloves without fingers, wearing a jade ring, gold bracelets, pearl earrings, and holding a bronze teapot on her lap. She sits in a brown wood chair against a plain ground filled with various shades of green. On the front is a splash of brown ink. The remains of tape are in both upper corners. Written in pencil under the image is "Elizabeth Keith". Near the bottom, written in pencil is "Chinese Matriarch 50". On the back, in the upper left corner is "A Chinese Matriarch S. 1126-233/50" written in pencil. A piece of masking tape on the back reads, "Grace Lippman 6-75", written in blue ball point pen. The print has a fold in the upper left proper corner.
