Description
Black and White Negative Performer Miyoshi Sugimachi, Japanese prima donna. Sugimachi had her first appearance in Seattle in 1925. She sang on Seattle radio stations from 1925 to 1928, and in Italy from 1928 to 1931. In 1931 she was the leading soprano with the Seattle Civic Opera Company. She later founded the Japanese Cultural Broadcasting Association at KRKD in Los Angeles.
