Description
Japanese doll in warrior costume. He carries a long sword in his left hand and a helmet in his right hand. He wears gold brocade hakama and red and white square pattern kimono and purple and white intertwined cord goes over his shoulders under his arms and is tied in a knot on his back. On his head is a black lacquer hat with folded paper wings ornamented with cherry blossoms gold cord and white cord tied under his chin. The helmet is black papier mache with metal ornament on top. It has an orange cord with tassels. The doll strikes a warrior pose. He stands on an orange silk-covered platform which is on top of a wooden platform. Damage: Helmet edge - chipped Wooden stand - dirty Silk platform - worn hole in front Hat - lacquer is dull paper is discolored
