Chinese spinach green nephrite jade central plaque contained within a carved rosewood framework with an inset border of 10 panels of carved white jade each with an elongated pierced carved portion. The central jade panels are decorated on both sides in gilt with motifs of the four seasons birds mountain and sea landscapes. Seal mark of artist. Measurements: Overall size: 20.25" x 18" Central plaque size: 13.75" x 16" Spinach jade insert: 7" x 9" White jade insert: 2" x 4.5"
