Hollow-cast bronze or possible branze-finish pot metal. Base had been covered; may be some other type of metal as center. Weighted in center. Fine engraving in hair and collar. 2nd half of 19th century. Figure depicts Kannon or Kwan Yin Goddess of Mercy.
