Leather soled slippers with uppers of black silk with a floral pattern. The slippers are lined with a cotton fabric. One the deed of the gift is a notation "Believe all from Manchuria purchased by navy officer Tom Sawyer (pre-WWII) and given to Louis Mayhew. Label gift 'In Memory of Louis Mayhew'".
