Description
Small ornamental brass hand mirror with cast scene of river bridge trees and buildings. On left side are Japanese characters which red "Fujiwara Mitsunga" a man's name. Fujiwara is a Shogun family name. The significance of this is uncertain. Smooth side is used as a mirror. Handle is wrapped with thin bamboo strands.
