Dark stained bamboo carrying case with cord for shoulder strap. The case is narrow with a square form. The lid slips over the bottom of the basket. The piece is reinforced with a wooden slat on the top and the bottom. Baskets of this type were carried by Filipino fishermen. This particular piece is damaged on the bottom where the wooden slat has come loose.
