Cloth Fragment

Long yellow rectangular piece of jusi cloth with fringe on both ends decorated with a rose-like flower stamp all over the fabric. The rose-like flower is pink with green leaves and green flower bud. The yellow jusi cloth has some lines of darker fibers. Jusi cloth is made from banana fibers which are taken out of the stalk of the banana plant. It is made mainly in Iloilo and some in Malabon and Rizal.
