Description

A: Narra Sungka board made of mahogany wood with carved handle along one side 14 depressions (3" diam.) in pairs along body of board and 2 depressions (4" diam.) one on each end carved separately. Grooved design of wavy lines around the depressions. B: Basketry tray of flat reed in twill weave dyed purple & green and natural color in diamond shape pattern. Rim bound with "nito" fiber. Insect damage. C: White and gray cowrie shells approx. 100 Two players start the game with 7 shells in each depression. Each takes turns in picking up opponents shells. The one who finishes with the most shells at "home" depression is the winner.
