2 Hina Maturi Court Lady Dolls A: Separate head on wood peg made of wood paste and dipped in "gofun" painted black hairline eyebrows and two dots on forehead red painted mouth inset glass eyes; black silk thread hair gathered in back tied in two places with yellow and pink threads. B: Body in standing position with arms extending forward painted wood hands no feet showing. 4 white silk and 2 peach-colored silk collars showing at neckline. Outer robe of orange-red brown and yellow brocade in tortoise shell and floral design lined in orange silk. Under kimonos show at sleeve edges: 1 red 1 white 1 orange. Red silk hakama lined in white tied at waist with red silk sash basted with white silk thread. C: Ladle: brass with carved floral patterns long handle ending in cloud design 2 pouring spouts. D: Separate head similar to head A hair in neater condition with white tie on top of head navy blue yellow and pink pony tail ties E: Body is similar to B but hands are closer together F: Sake kettle held in hands: brass long spout wire handle silver colored fan shape above spout stamped plum blossom pattern
