Description
Model stand with crossbar and hooks for Hina Matsuri Display A: Stand made of black lacquered wood with painted gold vine design with peonies and buds; two uprights are attached to a base and hold a square rod crossbar with hooks on which 4 orange knotted cords with tassels hang; the cross bar has embossed gold metal coverings at each end; the hooks 2 on each side of center uprights have chrysanthemum metal bases which are repeated on the top of the crossbar; the two square rod uprights are encased at the bottom with the same embossed gold metal and are attached to a similar metal plate on top of the base which has a curved stepped form. B-E: 4 orange silk knotted cord three knots ending in tassels hang from the 4 metal hooks. Used as backdrop behind top row of Hina Matsuri Display
