Miniature bowls of food A: Round flat bowl made of paper mache painted yellow with gold rim; blue green and orange pattern on inside of bowl; orange rectangles to represent hishi mochi are in the bowl on a bed of shredded daikon radish. Hishi mochi are toasted rice cakes cut into hishi shape. B. Paper mache bowl with red and gold half circles with blue pine tree design on cream background; inside has red and gold half circles with blue cross hatching; contains makizushi Osaka style and hakozushi with a bamboo leaf for decoration. Makizushi is seaweed rolled around rice. Hakozushi is pressed cooked fish with rice.
