Obi (sash)

Obi 2 piece plum colored sash with a back bow in rep silk. The sash section has 2 white ties one attached at the end of the belt section and the other near the center front at the bottom edge. The front is embroidered "In Commemoration of the Hyogo-Kobe Day Expo '70 Tatsuo Miyazaki Mayor of Kobe" in English in gold colored thread. The back bow is pre-folded and the pad called "obi age" can be inserted by a u-shaped white enameled metal prong which is sewn to the bow. Two white ties are attached at both sides of the bow.
