Embroidered silk panel. Vertical recatangular panel with hand embroidered motif with peonies and butterflies. Blue thread on red silk. The panel is similar to 1994.025.003 but different design. Two butterflies flank a centeral peony statched with various shades of blue thread in forbidden knot technique and outlined withcouched white thread. The butterflies are satin stitched withwhite black and blue thread. At one end of the panel is a satin stitched peony and leaves in various shades of blue. The panel is backed with a single piece of burlap fabric. Stamped in purple ink on the back is: "Made in China"
