Restaurants Japanese American Maneki

Wood sign from Maneki Restaurant "Sorry We're Closed" and "Come In We're Open". The sign is mand from a flate piece of light colored wood and suspended from a dark metal chain. On each side of the board a frame created by four pieces of bamboo split in half lengthwise have been nailed to border the paper signs: one reading "Sorry We're Closed" and the other "Come In We're Open". Both notices are in yellow lettering printed on a black backround of thick black paper. Below the Closed sign four tacks of various colors have been stuck into the board. A long chain is attached to to holes at the top.
