U.S. Army issue flat cap The cap is machine stitched from olive wool folded flat resembling an envelope with a cuff trimmed in red and gold cord.The cap is lined with olive green silk or acetate. A leather strip approximately 1/2 inch wide trims the interior bottom edge as a reinforcement.
