Folding Fan bought in Japan Slats of sandalwood (wider shaped top and narrower rounded bottom) and held together with a metal pin at the bottom and a white ribbon threaded through pierced design on each slat outer slats are thicker wood and the design is different from the inner slats 2 white silk cord tassels (with one gold strand) hang from cord with Chinese knot. Lidded cardboard box has a gold squiggly design on the lid (may not be original box) Fan may not have been made in Japan (Filipino?)
