Round faceless head with black crepe paper formed into hair Wears a black and white plaid hanten work jacket. with a brown silk ribbon sash. Grey leggings or pants. Bundle of twigs tied with yellow cord is attached to tan colored wire frame. Bundle is tied to figure with yellow braid. Figure is made of wire covered with white paper and shaped so that head looks down right arm is curved upward and left arm and hand holds miniature book mad eof white paper leaves with black ink markings. Right foot is foreword as if walking. both feet are nailed to the wood base.
