Description
Carved wood birdlike figure Ki - uso. Wood cylinder carved with angular shaped head so that top front forms a beak. Thin wood strips has been shaved up from the back of the cylinder to create curls representing bird feathers. The curls are accented with painted red and green spots. The head has a red and green stripe running around the back with painted gold splotches on the top. Painted black round eyes and painted red spot on chin. Bottom half is a stand on which the bird is perched and has painted black lines representing bird's feet.
