Brown cotton yardage for Yukata robe Resist dyed with stencils so that figures in white appear on chestnut brown background. Figures of Kappa mythical amphibious character with a skull cap hair fringe shell on back large nose (usually appears in green). All over pattern show him blowing soap bubbles playing violin playing shamisen eating with a friend riding a bicycle giving a lecture carrying a shoulder bar with baskets painting a picture sandwich board advertising walking with a briefcase. Stiff fabric intended for a Yukata.
