Description
Basketry Vase with a metal container and kenzan needle holder attached. Bamboo basket plain weave thin bamboo weavers and wire stakes in the shape of a dish on a pedestal which widens at the bottom. An open weave decorative band runs around the sides near the top. Bamboo strips are wrapped around the stakes and form diamond shapes with a weaver in the center. The wrapped rim is a darker brown in color. A shallow metal pan with brown enamel paint 7" Dia. is attached inside the basket with green floral paste. A large needle holder painted brown is attached inside the metal dish with green floral paste. In black felt pen written on the bottom is "Uno".
