Metal Vase Dark brown bronze color narrower at bottom rounded shoulders short neck flared rim; two swimming carp etched into the front of the vase and overlapping hint of wave design; carver's name is engraved at right of carp "Shuho" (top of the mountain). Possibly lacquered or treaated with black iron oxide. Scratched into the bottom is the donor's name "Uno". Needle point kenzan to inside bottom.
