Cast iron shallow vase for ikebana flower arranging Round tray shape with rounded sides flat bottom sand cast iron with rough surface created by sand inside is painted black to prevent rust. Bottom has 3 linear legs and knob in middle "Made in Japan" cast in strapping tape with donor's name removed from bottom. Two spots show manufacturer's mark in 3 smooth spots on bottom.
