Description

Framed Calligraphy Black sumi ink calligraphy composed of five large characters with verical lines of smaller characters to the left and the artist's two seals at bottom left one positive and one negative. Written on white hand mad eJapanese paper with impressions of origami cranes and wave pattern. Rectangular wood frame with dark brown stain has a concave center. Glass covers the Calligraphy. Screw eyes and picture wire on the back. Cardboard backing to be replaced. Paper taped to the back have written the calligraphy in ink pen. Translation taped to the back says: "(2) A Season Time An occasion (1)Business errand service and then (3) to love be attached to a person mankind human being." Calligraphy translates as "Moderate your business so that you have time to love people". Smaller calligraphy gives the date 1971 and the artist's artistic name "Duck Pavillion"
