Dai Base

Oval shaped wood base used for flower arrangements. Dark brown stained and varnished wood has been carved with a raised edge around the top and curves into a narrower bottom which also has a raised edge. There are four curved feet nailed to the bottom. On the bottom the donor's name "P.A. Uno" is in three places; there is a stamp which reads "Made in Japan"; and a red trimmed torn sticker with some Kanji written in pencil. There is a small crack near one end at the bottom.
