Dai Base

Bamboo dai base used for Ikebana flower arranging. Rectangular base is made of eleven bamboo rods tied together into a flat rectangle with black plastic covered wire. Every second rod is off-set. Color ranges from light to dark brown. The donor's name is written in black ink on white adhesive tape "P.A. Uno/PA3-2214" is written in blue ink on the tape also. The name "Uno" is also written in black ink on the bottom on one of the bamboo rods.
