Description
Lidded metal canister containing pellets of silk worm excrement. Canister is round and has a paper label wrapped around the bottom section. Tin is rusty on the bottom. Inside are grey pellets. Two Chinese characters are written on the front in black ink. Silkworm excrement (Excremetum Bombycis). The drug consists of the dried excrement of healthy silkworms (Bombyx mori L.). It is used to dispel wind and dampness for the treatment of rheumatic pain and swelling and urticaria.
