Obi (Shibori)

Informal Obi for Festival Wear The sash is made of shibori dyed turquoise blue and red habutai silk. The red and blue appear in broad diagonal bands separated by white areas of resist. On one side near each end and in the center are tie dyed dots in three rings.The silk is joined in the center folded inhalf length wise and has a padding which is stitched along the edges by hand.
