I'm often drawn to subjects that are outsiders or kind of on the fringe and I think that comes in part to my own personal background and experiences. "I guess my meaning in just creating and trying to make sense of the order of the world - a world that's ever changing and moving... I think a lot of my work is narrative in a way and I guess that's just my way of trying to make sense of the world.
