Pair of pink silk flat-soled embroidered shoes. Hand-embroidered decoration of flowers and birds in green turquiose purple and cream satin stitching. Basket stitch flowers on toe. Black satin or silk trim on top. Black cotton trim on bottom above sole. Handsewn leather sole. Some machine-made parts as in rear seam attached flap on heel. This pair represents civilian formal shoes 20th century.
