Pair of orange silk flat-soled embroidered shoes. Hand-embroidery in satin stitch of butterflies and cherry blossoms in pink purple turquoise yellow and green. Black cloth trim in upper and lower; hand-stitched leather sole. All hand-made. Civilian formal shoes probably early 20th century. White cotton lining yellowing in places. Red ink stamp of maker on inner lining.
