Square shaped fan with natural color bamboo frame and blue paper fan with a cutout design. The handle of the frame is painted a light brown color. The blue paper fan has a wavy cutout design going across the bottom and another design cutout near the top. There are Japanese characters written on the back in black ink on the off white background. The fan is edged in silver binding. Dark blue paper tabks stabilize the edge where the frame meets the paper. A white thread is woven near the bottom of the paper through the spokes and is sandwiched between the two pieces of paper. DAMAGE: The paper is torn by one tab and on the top binding edge
