Conical Farmers Hat Hat is woven of vegital fiber in a cone shape with a twill weave and a basketry start at the top of the hat has dark brown stakes. The edges of the hat are finished witha braided band of the same fiber whichis folded in half and sewn in place. Inside there are six bamboo stiffeners three of which are attached with a separate piece of fiber. Inside there is a fitting for the head which is made of two rings connected with straw to reed uprights which form the wall of the fitting. the fitting is tied in place to another ring which is wrapped in fiber and attached to the inside crown.
