Description
Handmade almost square piece made of a section of woven straw used for TATAMI mats which is folded and sewn together in wide zig-zags on the back. The edges that are not folded are trimmed with green cotton strips sewn on with natural fiber. The piece may be part of the set of dolls UCHIKAKE and FUTON and may represent the dolls' sitting pillow OZABUTON.
