Description

Half of a bivalve shell used for Ikebana flower arrangements featuring water scenes. Large half shell with a rough knobbly surface on the exterior with yellow staining on three-quarters of the surface and some pink staining in spots. The inside has a shiny "mother-of-pearl" finish with a yellow blue and pink reflective surface. Four holes pierce one edge of the shell creating knobs on the outer surface. Around the edge of the shallow part of the shell is a reddish color.
