Beverages Exhibit Oral History Interview Chris Murakami is lead brewer for a well known Northwest craft beer. Blending his first career in biology research with a newly found hobby of brewing beer with his Dad in the basement of his parent's home, Chris started in an entry level position at Elysian beer and worked his way up. He sees beer as a wonderful beverage that people can come together over and perhaps learn something new about each other. He also sees it as a challenging balance between science and art with a lot of hard work and consistency thrown in to make it perfect batch after batch.
